Suoniamo (Let’s play) is an educational project created to promote musical learning, adaptation to the context and integration through recreational activities. Although it is usable by everyone, Suoniamo is aimed specifically at children with autism by applying accessible learning techniques for music learning.

The plan is to create a web application to support music learning, which will offer exercises for the individual work of recognition and learning of notes and their duration, musical pauses, etc.. This will facilitate the recognition and interpretation of the signs of music and gradually guide the children to the correct playing of musical pieces. The contents can be customized to adapt the teaching proposals to the needs and personal preferences of the student. Once the basic elements have been acquired in order to perform a melody, the teacher can guide the student in the collaborative playing of the piece, together with classmates, in this way favoring inclusion of the pupil.

With the methodology proposed in the Suoniamo project, learning music becomes a means of promoting the autonomy and self-esteem of the autistic pupil. At the same time, it encourages inclusion within the school context by bringing the class together to perform simple musical pieces and small concerts.

Studies and techniques for the analysis of market sectors

The project, created in collaboration with the Department of Computer Science of the University of Pisa and Infocamere, was created with the aim of analyzing and verifying the web presence of the leading sectors of the Italian economy, such as Tourism, ICT and Fashion. It creates models of study and analysis that can also be used in other product sectors and used at an international level. The project, which involves the study and evaluation of various methodologies and algorithms for the analysis and classification of web content, has already prompted the creation of a permanent Internet Observatory for the ICT sector (http://www.ictinthenet.it) and Tourism (http://www.tourisminthenet.it) and the one on Fashion is currently under construction.

Data accuracy

Registro.it has set up a project in order to ensure the reliability, accuracy and quality of the data contained in the Database of Assigned Names (DBNA), in compliance with national laws and those of the European Union, which require reference to exact and updated data. It is aimed, first of all, at the study of methodologies and techniques of investigation and analysis that enable assessment of the accuracy of Registrant data. The carrying out of the project will involve collaboration with the Department of Computer Science of the University of Pisa, Infocamere, EBR, EUIPO and other European bodies and ccTLDs that can bring their know-how and experience to the project.

The analysis and verification of the accuracy of the data contained in the DBNA will be implemented through specifically developed software systems designed to process large amounts of data. When any discrepancies or inconsistencies are identified, all the necessary actions for updating the data will be implemented, obviously in collaboration with Registrars and Registrants.
