Ludoteca of Registro .it – which for years has been committed to spreading digital culture and the right use of the Internet among young generations – will be part of Parole O_Stili, that this year will be held from 31 May to 1 June in Trieste. The event will be an opportunity to reflect on online ‘hostile’ languages and on ways to promote a positive and responsible use of the Internet. More than 80,000 students of different schools and age will take part in the event.
On 31 May, Ludoteca will hold a seminar for the students of Istituto Caprin – IC Valmaura, lower secondary school, about Web opportunities: from the “made in Italy” of the .it to the world of the Internet of Things, Smartcities and Big Data. Giorgia Bassi (Registro .it) and Beatrice Lami (Cnr-Iit) will speak at the seminar.
Parole O_Stili will last two days, both focused on the first principle embedded in the Manifesto of the non-hostile communication: ‘Virtual is real: I say or write on the Web only things I have the courage to say in person’. This third edition will introduce two new elements: 'Parole a Scuola Young' (Words at School Young), an event intended for schools, and collective working tables of selected experts in several fields.
