A story made of future
This number entitled "1987-2012 – A story made of future" is dedicated to the 25 years of the story of the Registro .it (the Italian Domain name Registry) and of .it. In order to celebrate the event and to tell the story of this quarter of century of Italian history of the Internet, Focus .it, in a special number, has taken the testimony of the CNR President Luigi Nicolais; a "passionate" synthesis between past and future of the director of IIT-CNR and Head of the Registro .it Domenico Laforenza; the working experience at the Italian Domain Name Registry told by the Heads of the single Units (Maurizio Martinelli, Rita Rossi, Anna Vaccarelli, Daniele Vannozzi). Last but not least, the testimonies of famous people who have helped make this a unique number and tell the story of .it and the “Italian spirit” through their experience.
